Alpha development of the ‘Low Cost Cast Air Bubble Line’ for the packaging industry was designed with lowering manufacturing cost, to offset the high cost of shipping. Distributors operating these lines, cost-effectively produce bubble wrap packaging. The finished product would be made in close proximity to its destination reducing the high expense due to transportation, thereby providing a savings for the operators.

Alpha Marathon line makes rigid PP sheet

Alpha has introduced the Alpha Rigid sheet line, using a multilayer sheet extrusion process to make a rigid polypropylene sheet board using air-bubble technology as the core layer.

The equipment maker offers a turnkey coextrusion case film line, including the laminating station, corona treater and printer.

Applications include automotive interiors, automotive packaging, technical packaging, graphics and advertising, building and construction, furniture and multipurpose panels.
