Following is a profile of our product range, AMFET Inc. provides design expertise and engineering to supply quality film extrusion equipment for the global plastics market.
Over the 30 years, AMFET Inc. has improved film quality and output rates in more than twenty countries world wide.
While the core of our expertise is in the design and manufacturing of blown film dies. AMFET Inc. incorporates a broad range of products and is increasingly successful in combining these quality assets into complete blown and cast film extrusion lines. Our continued involvement in complete extrusion lines, design and improvement has been highlighted recently with a strong product offering for companies considering the multi layers coextrusion film market.
Contributing to AMFETI's strengths is our patented "flow mixing channel" design on all it's dies. A port system to improve thermal dispersion of polymer flow at entry to spiral section of the die. Produces a dramatic reduction of optical gauge port lines, both on single and multi layered systems, with excellent ability to run metallocenes.
Continued advancements in increasing film qualities and output, are being made by introduction of our new LFR style air ring. The air ring uses low pressure, high volume air flow and designed fins incorporating side intake ports. A fixed lower lip used in conjunction with simple and precise adjustment of the upper lip allows for an easy one time set up.
AMFET Inc. offers fully automated material blending and metering as well as film thickness measurement equipment on its complete lines, gravimetric monitoring of all key input and improved quality on both single layer and co-ex film.
AMFET Inc. extruders are available in sizes ranging from 20 to 150 mm barrel diameter and are offered with both the air and water cooling systems. Top quality, experience proven gear boxes and reducers with integral thrust bearings, ensure the extruders meet and exceed the rigors of constant production demands. Bimetallic barrels, ceramic or aluminum healer bands and custom designed screws, guarantee a consistent melt entering the die.
Also we include a feed grove section for high performance extruders for HDPE.

We offer a complete range, including semi to fully automatic, single, back to back, or the high efficient slacked winder design. All winders incorporate modern PLC technology and arc manufactured from the highest quality mechanical and pneumatic and safety devices components available.
The ability to have an extrusion line with flexible production capabilities while still producing perfect roll geometry poses several problems. To complement our standard collapsing frames the horizontal film oscillators (HFO). Haul off system is a complete solution to perfect distribution above the frost line. The compact size of this unit combined with collapsing frame positioned entirely below the top platform, make this an ideal hauloff.
The internal bubble cooling is offered with the most technologically advanced non contact sensing systems available. Increased throughout and engineered efficiency are among results consistently obtained through use of an AMFET Inc. - IBC system.
We have recently introduced DIE SIGNATURE for Windows, a user friendly blown film line simulation software package, which can accurately simulate single or multi layer blown film and provide the user with instant information regarding expected back pressure, residence lime, shear rate and flow velocity through the entire process.
Through the years, AMFETInc. using the Technologies and Know How of the extrusion business, has developed a "Low Cost Cast Air Bubble Line" for the Packaging Industries. Because of the high cost of shipping air bubble material from the manufacture to distributors, Alpha is now offering this low cost bbble line to allow distributors to manufacture there own bubble wrap packaging material.
