SPIRAL DIE:
Bottom-fed three layer spiral die for blown film extrusion.
Manufactured from 4340 steel, annealed and stress relieved.
All polymer contact surfaces and passages machined and polished to 12 RMS
Die body and die lips to be chrome plated
Remaining components to be nickel plated to assure 100% coverage of components and provide wear resistance
High quality ceramic heater bands complete with plugs/receptacles and thermocouples.
Computer designed spiral and lips to suit customer specified materials.
Low-pressure die design for ± 5-7% gauge distribution and 4000 to 5000 psi back pressure.
Design features patented "Flow Mixing Channel" port system to improve thermal dispersion of polymer flow at entry to spiral section of the die, producing a dramatic reduction of optical and gauge port lines.
DIE BLOCK:
Stationary die block assembly
Manufactured from machine steel, annealed and stress relieved.
Polymer surfaces and passages machined and polished to 12 RMS, and hard nickel plated.
Includes Mica heater bands and J-type thermocouples.
MELT PIPES:
To suit 3 ½” extruders
Includes flange adapter flange to connect to screen changers.
Ceramic heater bands
J – type thermocouples.
DIE CART:
One heavy duty die cart manufactured from structural steel.
Levelling bolts to assure level ness provide fine height adjustment
Die cart mounted on heavy duty castors.
Distribution box mounted under die cart
Terminal box included for electrical feed.
TWO LAYER SPLITTER:
Provide split flow feed from one extruder into inner and outer layers (A & C)
Power supply: 3 phases 575 volt
